Project 348 Priest, Sutton QC

Realized in 2010-2011. A unifamilial building in massive glulam wood-frame construction on a concrete basement.

The massive roof construction in combination with a glass front and a cathedral ceiling on the upper floor creates a feeling of a very generous indoor space, and is flooded with light in winter.

Even such non-trivial beam constructions can be precisely cut to size in a highly automated manner.

Frame elements may be pre-assembled to various degrees to allow for shorter assembly times on site.

Such elegant staircases can be tailored to size.
